All Treasure Hunting
Soooo excited to find this site!!! I live on land that has been in my family since 1896, so everything I find is a treasure!! I enjoy using my Whites metal detector, or just walking the land after a good rain to see what shows up from its hiding spot in the ground. A while back I dug up an old root cellar that had caved in according to family stories. Sure enough, I dug up several old mason jars, and a glass square baby bottle! My daughter used those mason jars as decor in her wedding which made a special occasion even more special!
Anyway, enough rambling, Hello everyone!! :hello:

Hello from Ala, if ya need some help let me know!! JJ welcome!

Welcome OkieRn from an Oklahoma expatriot here in the middle of the Rocky Mountains in Summit County, Colorado. One of our local theater groups is doin that play 'Oklahoma' now, and I have figured out a sure-fire way to spot the older Oklahoma exiles wherever you go. Whenever that song 'Oklahoma' is played, we will stand up right away. Then we realize everyone is looking at us, so we look around sheepishly, kinda stretch and twist, 'Whoo boy, I been settin so long, my back's kinda kinkin up, yeah buddy that feels better, reckon I'll set back down.' Yeah it happened to me once. Good hunting to ya and study your state's history. Very interesting story.
