Hello from Ohio!

Hey everybody, did a Google search looking for forums about finding buried treasure, and happened upon this place.

I'm in my mid-twenties, from southwestern Ohio (greater Cincinnati area). I don't currently own a metal detector, but I've spent a good time digging around, or lucking out and finding a good piece somewhere. My all time-favorite, though not metal, is an arrowhead I found in a creek about fifteen years ago. I was probably ten years old.

Anyway, wouldn't mind meeting up with anybody around this area, or hints for this region, and also - I'm quite open to advice for a first metal detector.
