Hello From Northern Michigan

Hello all,

I'm relatively new to the metal detecting world. I went out last year for the first time with a co-worker and we found an old double sided axe head and a old horseshoe! I've included a picture of the axe head in this post. Thus, I became addicted and this winter purchased my first detector, a Garrett Ace 350.

I am anxious for the snow to melt here so I can get out and see what I can find! I look forward to talking with y'all and any tips or advice you can share is much appreciated!!
