Hello from New Hampshire

Last night I started reading a thread on metal detectors on another forum I go to. I've thought about getting one in the past and my son had a cheapo MD from Radio Shack as a kid. His was little more than a toy, but it was fun. So I decided yesterday to take the plunge and bought a Garrett AT Pro. It's due to be delivered today and I feel like a kid on Christmas eve. I've been reading on a NH MD forum and seeing the finds people have made gets me more excited for this. I know I'm not going to find treasure, but I find the historical aspect of what's found facinating. An old spoon, button, or belt bukle would make my day. I look forward to reading this forum and learning from the veterans.
