hello from New Hampshire

HI all,
I am completely new to this but have been thinking about using a metal detector on our lake and surrounding areas. I am former military so I like the look of the Garrett AT Pro. Does anyone have nay thoughts? I hate to buy something less expensive then have to sell it and buy something new. Any and all comments are welcome.
