New to the Hobby, been involved for about six weeks. getting to know my Bounty Hunter Platinum improving pinpointing skills every day. I enjoy reading all the Posts out there and looking forward to great finds. I spend a lot of time on the road along the I-90 corridor and would love any information on Regulations in cities between Missoula and Spokane WA. have found just over 200 coins before finding my 1 and only silver dime ('52 Rosie) Was so excited to see it in the hole, it truly made my day. Only other silver was a bracelet. Thinking about going out today (chilly 25 degrees) for an hour or so. Thanks all have a great day!

Hi MT, welcome to the hobby. I wish I could help you but each state and town will vary in what is acceptable. I can hunt BLM< and city parks here. State land and National Forrest is off limits. You can get Forrest Service maps that will tell you where private property is and such. Even download a map for a gps if needed. You may want to get google earth, or acme maps and learn to do overlays of old maps. At first you may find a lot of no's, but once you know where you can hunt, you'll see there is a lot of ground to cover.
