Just stopping by to say Hello! I'm looking at getting into this, I need a hobby to keep me busy. when I'm not busy my PTSD kinda gets too me. Looking at trying to buy a metal detector but know nothing about them. Well anyways, HI!

Sit back, read, larn and ask questions. Now is the time to do some homework around your area. I love to hunt plowed farm fields where there were houses, cabins, ghost towns, and such long ago. Thee is more close to you than you think.

With the mild soil, farm fields and such, a Tesoro might be a good place to start. A Cibola is my weapon of choice in farm fields. Goes deep, pinpoints extremely accurate. Lightweight, batteries last a long time so it does not cost much to feed. Lifetime warranty.
