Hiya,
I'm jimbly from Japan - originally from the UK
Been here 4 years.
I'm new treasure/gold hunting

I live in the mountains west of Tokyo, i've discovered there is an old gold mine (from medieval times) about 45mins drive up the valley, it has a small river close by, would this be worth trying out for panning?

I just bought a ACE250 for coin shooting/treasure hunting too, so i'll let you know how it goes.

jimbly, welcome to TNet. It couldn't hurt to check it out. You might find some color or you might find some ancient artifacts. I would check if there are any laws/restrictions on detecting in the area. Hope you find something good!
