Primary Interest:
Metal Detecting
My name is Devin I live in Redding,CA

I am a disabled veteran mid twenties I currently work as an Executive Assistant. Just got into metal detecting with a 250. I detect with my grandfather we are both in the market for an AT Pro. I'm searching for new places to detect. I have yet to find anything of any interest to me although I enjoy the experience of it all. I enjoy the outdoors shooting an family time. I found this site via R Adams YouTube channel.

Welcome to Tnet Devin! Thank you for your Service!
You live in a great area for Metal Detecting and your Ace is a good starter machine.
I use the ATP and love it.
Go to your local parks. You want to research areas that are old (pre 1960) and had lots of foot traffic. Old fair grounds, gatherings, churches, schools etc.
research is key to discovering cool finds!
Happy Hunting!!!

Devin!
WELCOME to Treasure Net!
Thanks for your service!!
I'm a disabled vet like you, and enjoy metal detecting immensely!
As it was said, research will get you to the real great locations,
that have had a lot of use in the past.
You will dig trash, that's a given, but keep at it, the treasure still awaits!
Happy Hunting and Good Luck!

PS - the Siskiyou County Relic and Recovery Club meets monthly at 6pm, on the
FIRST Thursday of the month at Ming's Restaurant in Yreka, CA - a long ways
to go for a meal, but hey, we are a fun group! =]

Thank you for the wisdom. Buying a pinpointer tomorrow. For the holiday weekend.
