Were you in National Geographic magazine lately?

Are you holding an older model White's 6000 DI or whatever, just out of frame?

I use only Garrett

Welcome to TNET. I hope you are having fun detecting. I haven't been able to get out lately, so have a little fun for me:coffee2:

Welcome to TNet and Mugs! I looked at your finds...a lot of good things to detect in Estonia. I'm sure there is a lot less trash compared to our ground here. :icon_sunny:

Welcome to TNet!

Are you in an area where you can find German and Russian items from WWII??
Wasn't the Bronze Age Relic "Kumna Hoard" found in Estonia?
You should possibly be able to find Roman artifacts, pirated treasures from surrounding countries and stuff from the Northern Crusades even!
That would really be awesome!!!
Well, good luck in your detecting!

Since making my last post here tonight...decided to go shopping online for a new Garrett. I just bought me a Garrett Ace 250 online tonight for $212.45 with no shipping or handling charges plus headphones and accessory package.

That will be my new detector, the old GTA 1000 still works, but if it quits working...would have to buy another coin detector anyway. Maybe the Ace 250 will be more stable in bad weather conditions (thunderstorms).

I saw a Russian coin in there...plenty to find over there in Estonia. Some of the old church artifacts that detectorist have found in former Soviet countries (like a cross with chain) are pure gold.

Good luck, I'm sure you'll find more than your share!

For a good photo, you could just pile those coins around a search coil like this...

Little history lesson, and yeah we have coins here from every occupation starting year 0.

Estonia is the northernmost of the three Baltic States in Eastern Europe. After having been conquered by the Danes, the Livonian Knights, the Teutonic Knights of Germany, the Swedes, the Poles and Russia, Estonia declared itself an independent republic on February 24, 1918 but was not freed until February 1919.

Shortly after the start of World War II, it was again occupied by Russia and incorporated as the 15th state of the U.S.S.R. Germany occupied the tiny state from 1941 to 1944, after which it was retaken by the Soviet Union. Estonia gained its independence from Russia in 1992. In may of 2004, Estonia became a member of the European Union (EU).

If I could find enough really old coins where I live...I'd be out digging instead of working a job too!
Happy hunting...
