Sorry I havent introduced myself earlier, I just found the New Member Itros. Anyway its great to learn form you folks. There's no better way to do it except years of digging through the sod. I have had some history in detecting. My grandmother used to take me back in the latter sixties, when finding silver was fairly regular. We were dairy farmers and she was a small but strong woman. When I see these new detectors and people complain about the wieght, I laugh! She had a old gold master and let me tell you that it was big and heavy. But now its unbelievible how far technoligy has come. I have a E-trac and a Garrett 2500 and they are wonderful, I throughly enjoy this hobby. I'm starting to hit silver now, up to 5 over the last couple months and alot of wheaties, a half cent and a couple of indian pennies. I'm still learning this machine and techniques but I have the fever !
