Thank you for the warm welcome, and the link to the UK end of the forum. I can see there is a difference between countries and expectations from its detectorists. I am interested in seeing what those are hence I read sites far and wide. One of the beauties of the internet and computers - I wish this facility was about when I was young. Now the wrong side of 70 but enjoy the activity.
