Hello from Clay County, FL

I have been hunting off and on for years and don't have much to show for it. A couple of 1907 Indian head pennies, a few buffalo nickels, a couple of WWII nazi coins, lots of wheat pennies, a few silver quarters and dimes. Also a couple of interesting keys, several spent cartridges, 45/70, 1917 & 1918 .45 , some rim fire pistol etc. Really not much but I did have fun and always hope to "hit it big" someday.

Yeah I'm having a blast with it, well when work doesn't get in the way that is lol

Welcome aboard! Take a look at Sub-Forums: Florida for information (i.e., clubs, etc.) directly related to your state.

Welcome. I have some family up in Orange Park near you. Good luck hunting. If I lived up there i'd be out on Black creek with a jon boat exploring the woods.

Hi Cuesal2; I have been detecting for 43 years and I still get a kick out of being out there if I'm only picking up clad coins. I'm 80 years young and I try to go out every damn day. I'm only good for about 2 hours swinging a coil but it is still a blast. Yesterday morning came home with 42 coins and this morning came home with 19 coins. At my age I'm just happy to be out there digging in the dirt. Enjoy!!! LYNNE
