Hello from central Arkansas

I am a misplaced Texan in central Arkansas. First detector bought in 1984 but not much experience over the years. Have hunted off and on over the years. Now retired and have time. Other hobbies are guns and ham/shortwave radio. Current detector is a Bounty Hunter Quick Silver. Not the best... but what I can afford at this time. Mostly I coin shoot in public parking lots. When in Houston I used to search for the "Twin Sisters" cannons. I will hang around and lurk the site to see what I can learn. I have a few questions but I want to search the site for a while to see if the questions have already been answered.
