Hello from Arizona!! Need advice!!

I am getting started into treasure hunting need a couple pointers...

I am looking for a good metal detector under $2000... any recommendations?

Also I have a lot of time on my hands and a lot of money and would like some pointers as to where to get started on metal detecting? Where do I look?? I want to find some treasure!!!!

Are you looking for gold nuggets? Coins, relics? I would look into the Minelab X-Terra 705, which is capable of using several different coils for different types of treasure hunting. If you are hunting gold nuggets, look into joining a local club with claims. Best of luck!

Archaic, a lot depends on what type of targets you are looking to find. In AZ, there are gold nuggets, relics , coins and jewelry. In your price range, you can afford some higher end detectors depending on the targets. Garrett ATX, White's V3I, Minelab E-Trac, Fisher F75 LTD SE.
