Hello form Texas

I am getting back into detecting after a 4 year break. I am in the process of pulling the trigger on an new equinox 600. I am wanting to detect some of the beaches around Galveston/Houston. If anyone can provide info on beaches that are ok to detect or off-limits it would be much appreciated.

As far as I know, i've been to Stewart Beach on Galveston island one time. Had no issue whatsoever.
