I saw Randy at The Omni in Atlanta two shows before his tragic death. A true guitar virtuoso. His revolutionary style of incorporating classical scales and arrangements into rock is still influencing young musicians today. I know that if he had lived his name would be mentioned in conversations beside Mozart and Beethoven.

Thank you all for welcoming me to the forum in such a friendly and helpful manner. It is real reassuring to have so many knowledgeable metal detecting minds willing to share their experiences.
I just bought a F2 and on two short backyard excursions I have found one quarter, four dimes and sixteen pennies, one wheat. Whoo! Whoo! Seriously though, there is alot more to learning the machine than I had anticipated. I`ll post what I like/dislike about the F2 after I have a few months of regular use under my belt.
