Hello fellow Detectorists & Prospectors

I am a prospector from West Australia. I use a Minelab Extera 70, GPX4000 and a GPX5000. I have only just ordered a Tesoro Outlaw and hoping to have it in the mail next week.
I love looking for old coins and relics but gold is my speciality.
It is this time of the year where I head out bush looking for new ground.

How are ya Terry,
The 5000 is the best machine on the market when it comes to gold.
I started with the Garret Deep seeker(Thunder Box) followed by the Gold Bug( Very good on small stuff if no mineralization) then to the SD 2000, 2100, 2200 ( nothing has bet this in regards to depth on big nuggets using the 18" DD coil), 4000 and now the 5000. The GPX are the best on very small nuggets even in high mineralization using the mono coils
I can pick up pieces that do not show 0.01 of a Gram.
How do you find your machine. Is the ground quite or mineralized. Here in WA we have a lot of iron biffs and small iron pebbles scattered across our country.

With the new soil timings on the 5000, I have found some really small pieces (2-3grains) that the 4000 would walk over in our high-iron Arizona soil. Just a great machine! Now if we could just find a way to knock out bullets and boot tacks!
