Hello Everyone

I am Dan located on the Treasure Coast of Florida. I have been reading the forums trying to learn as much as I can.

I really appreciate that some forums still exist instead of dealing with Facebook and the likes. Forums are so much better for organizing and finding information.

I am a total newbie. I have ordered a XP Deus II with 11" coil. I was considering a Nox 800 but after looking at the Deus, it looks like I can use it right out of the box while learning. It appears lighter, better balanced and higher quality of parts. I also like that I can use it in shallow, 10 to 25 ft, waters.

Welcome Dan to T Net from Michigan! Don't get discouraged when you turn on your new machine and realize how much trash is thrown onto the ground. Remove it and put it in your pouch. Then check the spot again since many times a great target will be sitting next to some trash! Best of luck and report back with how you are doing!
