I just joined this site and saying hello to everyone. Been metal detecting for a couple years with a Garrett ACE 250. Nice detector for the money. Thinking about upgrading. The first few months I spent learning this detector but it has paid off. I would like to meet some other hunters around my area to hunt with. I have made some cool finds along the way including the Roman coin as my avatar. I figure it got dropped a while ago by a farmer perhaps seeing no Romans were here at that time. I found it at my former home in New Salem built in 1836, but to date its the coolest coin. Have no Idea the worth. Believe its Aurelius Caesar or something like that.
