Hello All

Metal detecting is new to me. So I'll be visiting to learn as much as I can and hopefully make new friends. I stay pretty busy though and will try to check in as much as possible. Take care all. Oh, and don't mind the pick. I'm 57 and just trying to survive here in middle Georgia.

Red_desert...Thanks for the welcome. If this heat ever subsides in middle Georgia, I plan on getting out a little. It's just too darn hot right now. I'll post as soon as I get started. Hopefully I'll find a trinket or two.Take care

I spent a few months at Ft. Gordon, learning the 'Infantry trade', LOL.
I agree on the 'Hot weather', we are having it rough here in OK.

Sorry for the belated thank you, but I've been working a little too much lately. I did a few months at Fort Gordon also for Advanced Individual Training (AIT) as a marine in 1972, believe it or not. They called Augusta "Discusta then". I liked it though and that is when I first started thinking about joining the Army. They were authorized beer in the barracks. Oh, man was that a good time...Take care...Tom
