Been sweeping an old 1800's hayfield last couple hunts. I dug up a neat heel plate (I think) with star.
Pisces triangle pendant, 1880 indian head penny, 1961 washington quarter, and a 59 rosey dime. The silvers were at another location a stones throw from my house. I KNOW for a FACT I have passed over the exact spot the quarter was. It was no more than 4 inches deep and gave a booming signal. Must be some truth to the freeze/thaw cycle and coins becoming detectable.
