HEEl or TOE PLATE??

Found this in my back yard. It looks to be tore up a bit but it has a number 2 stamped in the center of it with a capital L right above it. Also says “Model No. 77” Any ideas as to what it is and how old??

2 Wood golf club plate, here's a similar styled one (A 5 Wood). Other than that can't help out much more, golf is not my forte.......It's a game of solo fetch to me!

Yep... vintage, and one of these in fact, although this is a No. 1 wood.
