Hey everybody, I did some metal detecting the other day in the woods and found this round object. It rang up in the 90s on my AT Pro. It's quite heavy and has 2 holes on the underside. I'm very curious to what it is. Does anybody know? 20180722_131320.webp20180722_131334.webp

It does look like a pendulum from a large clock. The two slots is where it would slide on the arm.

Dang you guys are awesome. I didn't even think about that. It sure does look like a pendulum, that's probably why it's so heavy. Thank you!!

I have also found one of these. I could be wrong, but I was always under the impression that it is an old horse rosette. A leather strap would have been pulled through the rectangular hole. 7cd53bd752b13918eb5a8a1f3ec65dd4.webp
