If it's heavy for it's size, it most definitely isn't titanium. Maybe stainless steel?

Hi Tim ,,,, Copper is almost as heavy as silver and when silver plated ,looks like silver.,Did you clean it,or did you find it as shone? It looks like it is silver plated. If you place a Drop of sulfuric acid (battery acid) on a scratched area AND IT TURNS green, YOU KNOW IT IS COPPER,, IF IT TURNS GREY it is silver, no reaction: nickel or stainless.(OR PLATINUM!!!) Be careful of the acid. Or you can go to a COIN SHOP and they will test it for you.
Oh by the way ,1 TROY ounce = 31.1034768 grams( or simply 31.1 Gm.) 12 Troy ounces to a Troy Pound. Troy is used for weighing precious metals: silver, gold, platinum,Etc. FYI
Any way ,that is a nice looking necklace , what ever it is made of. I wish I'd have found it.
