Heavy farm items

Hello everyone, I metal detected at my 3rd great-grandfathers farm again today. He lived there at the farm from the 1890s to 1954. I found this band that I’m thinking is off of a tobacco wagon wheel hub. Also I found this really heavy object with a hole in it. Thank you!

Does look like a hub band.

The first object In the first and second picture looks like it’s broken on both sides. I’m thinking it may be part the steel rim of wheel where the nail connects the pieces of wood together.
