Okay, I've got to admit - I'm stumped.
I hunted a playground yesterday and besides coming home with a hoard of coins ($3.19 - 52 of which were pennies!) I actually eyeballed this item.
A heart stopper for sure: the Florida sun was glinting off its gold-colored surface and winking off its diamond-like gems.
I'm sorry that I don't have the weight available - I use our jewelry scale at work and WHOO HOO! I'm not there on this holiday Monday. It does have some heft, though.
There are no discernable jewelry marks.
The ball on the end spins.
So... what in the world WAS this thing in its original incarnation
I have attached 3 pics - and included a familiar item for sizing purposes.
Happy Memorial Day everyone! A special thanks to all who served!

Just got back from a local jeweler - said she had no idea what in the world it actually was either - but it was made of 10K! The diamonds? Just CZ's. So I sold it to her for 50 bucks. Works for me - just a few minutes prior, I bought a really nice handsfree device for my car/phone and guess what? I paid just over $50 for it. (Was $149 but had been opened, so I got an excellent deal). This was the first time I ever sold something I found - and I've got to say, I'm pleased!
