Heart almost stooped!

I went out hunting today in my own backyard and found a bunch of junk but also found 2 zinc caps that were right side up in the ground! When I saw that I just knew I had found a mason jar cache of some kind but it was just cruel fate...............nothing underneath. They were complete with their ceramic inserts for canning. Oh well..............sooner or later I`ll find the "real thing" !

whenever I see even a sliver of porcelain in the woods I hit the area hard with the detector. Found that almost

every bottle dump I have found had the zinc caps and porcelain liners in it.

Nice finds. Next time the cache.
