I flip the plug over and this is what I was rewarded with..







Looks like many battles with the plough. Last one I found was 41 years ago.


This is much better than swinging in corn rows.

Back in those days, I'm sure that losing a dollar would have been enough of a deal for most folks that they would spend some time looking for a lost one. A dollar could buy a lot of stuff back then. No wonder they're so rare.

What's the history behind the area?

Well have found some native American artifacts by sight and there was civil war activity in the area. It's along the arkansas river by the old garrison and fort
