This looks like beach erosion in the forecast. All the way down the western states.

Hit the wave energy map. Scary stuff north of Cali.

I have no idea what all that means but I am sure I will learn. Already bookmarked the page with a beach 3 miles from my new home.

There is a big storm there right now 5-10" rain and heavy wind.

In 1865 the Brother Jonathan paddlewheeler got caught in a storm west of my new town and sank eight miles from town killing over 220 people. But divers have found over 1200 $20 gold coins and lots of artifacts.

I wonder if any are ever washed ashore after a big storm.
