I don't know what to make of that.

Maybe a double heads coin, for cheating at the coin flip?

I see you are from Maine, did you find it near any New England Patriots football players?

PS: I think that is a sweet find, and counts as two LCs. Well done sir!

Congrats on the unique find. :occasion14: I am amazed that they used and 1847 and an 1848 LC to make this. Don't you think they should at least be the same year? :dontknow:

Strangest of all to my mind is that TWO of these have been posted here in two days !!??

And we're in two different states! I'm in New York ! Freaking weird

2 HEADS ARE BETTER THAN ONE.

now those two matrons can get in a dispute and----------

flip a coin to see who is right :icon_biggrin:

I guess back in the day, they also cheated at games of chance. :icon_thumleft:

That is so cool...very interesting. :icon_scratch:

That is super bizarre...there must be some valid reason for why someone would create a double-sided coin (a popular coin trick back in that day possibly?).
That is incredible, I found the same thing different date on Saturday! Never saw it before and now two in one week that's weird very weird.

Here's the link to my post. Not trying to hijack just want to show you.

Congrats and happy hunting!

That is very weird what are the chances? LOL

Only difference is mine has that circle in the middle..Did you know right off you had a two header or did you have to clean it first?
