Built these to use and never did! These are Solid and Comfortable!...I used a 50mm poly driver in theconstruction of these that will give a wide response from low to high tones. I used premium four conductor with shield Microphone cord that will stretch to 7 if needed. Premium Neutrik and Rean
plugs on the cord and both the Tip and ring have a double conductor soldered for double the
protection of a broken conductor wire. It cost me $25.00 to purchase the parts for the cord only, you won't find a better quality cord for this application...
The reason I went this route is that you could have the cord replaced easily as the Neutrik
connectors are very easy to rework if or when needed. The Headphones have a Stereo/Mono
switch for those that need it along with both Right and Left Volume control's as well. I used "Quality"Sealed pot's ... I also used High quality Low Z microphone cord
in all the internal wiring. If you like a wide frequency range headphone for your detector that has great great external noise reduction you would be hard pressed to find something better.. $79.00 Shipped lower 48
I think this is my cost for all the parts so this is a good deal,,,
