Headphones for DFX?

get any headphones that feel good on your head. Id recommend full circumferential aural? do they call them..... whatever.... the big puffy ones that cover your ears completely.

they are comfy, and help block out background noises. Id also recommend getting a set with individual side volume adjustments. This way you can perfectly balance the sound and as you get older and deafer like me, you can 'turn up' the bad ear a bit.

I'm a fan of the Gray Ghost line myself. Am using their Nugget Busters NDT and the regular Nugget Busters. Comfortable ear cups, shuts out outside noise very well and plenty of sensitivity and volume. Only downside for me is they are a bit warm in hotter weather, but so is most everything else.

I've tried a few kinds with my DFX lost.I jist got a set o' B's and i am very imressed with the snug fit and the tones i'm hearing now that i was previously missing.Haven't tried the Ghosts or the Rats.

I use Whites Pro Blue max with my DFX. I like them a lot. I bought a set of Koss $$$. They are no way as good as my old Whites pro,s. I get much better sound and depth with them. I have never owned the Gray Ghost, but I,m sure they are good also. Mike.

Believe it or not, you an goto any stereo shop and get a supurb set of earphones as well for a lot less sometimes than the 'metal detector' ones. Being metal detecting is kind of a 'specialty' item, the prices are jacked way high. Kind of like you can buy something for your boat at a 'marina' and pay a ton for that word, or get it at a regular store and get a better deal on the identical thing.
