Headphone Battery Drain

I have not personally noticed that, but always charge everything up the night before I go detecting. Will check on this as I have not been detecting for over a week and see how the H/P are doing.

:goldtrophy:as with all lipo batteries they will drain without use. if you know you are going to store them for more than week either charge or discharge them to 50%.
50% charge is the storage sweet spot. (approx 3.8v)

I use one of these to find the 50% sweet spot. doing this will maximize your battery life.

read the mah capacity of the bat and either drain or charge to the 1/2 way mah. example: the equinox has a 5000 mah bat. the storage
sweet spot will be 2500mah.

if you can't find the mah value.....alow the battery to complete discharge (this will not harm the battery as they have a low voltage protection built in) then using your meter showed above, charge the battery and make note of the total mah reading. this will be close
enough, divide by 2 and you have your target mah reading for the storage of the battery.
(if you only have a voltmeter go with 3.8v per cell the equinox and head set only have single cell batteries)

this is my fav pic to help me with lipo voltages...
