I know this does not exactly qualify as a 'today's find' but thought it may spark an interest in the subject.
I got bored this winter so I decided to spice up some of my more abundant finds.... the good old shotgun shell head stamp Here is a board that I made. It displays every unique head stamp that I have found over the years. Just this past weekend (first hunt of 2008 post) I found two unique head stamps that I did not have.
The board rows left-right display 10 gauge, 12 gauge, 16 gauge, 20 gauge. The close-up is the 12 gauge section. It's kinda fun because some of them date into the mid and late 1800's.
This little board gives me a reason to be 'happy' 8) when I find a shot gun shell. I thought I'd share it with you all just for something different. Thanks for looking.
