I found one on my dog this morning, first one she's ever had and she's 8.
guess I need to go and spray the yard

Ticks? Oh I hate those dreaded things. What was god thinking, when he created those nasty critters.

Molly.

The only thing worse than those are chiggers. Luckily I haven't seen either one since I moved up here to about 10,000 ft. We used to hardly have any ticks in Western Oklahoma until they started conservation efforts on the white-tail deer population. When those increased, the ticks increased as well.

Nasty critters for sure, I saw where they are moving north (Due to global warming), & affecting the moose so bad that some are losing weight, & actually dying from being 'infested with ticks'.

Fossis................

Fossis, I watched a show on the Animal Planet the other day, about moose and they found a dead one and hauled it back to their lab and counted the ticks on it, (95,000). Incredible!!
