Well then you have hope for the future and plenty of time to do some research. On another recent post these two addresses were put up for historical photographs that if they exist for your area might be of some use and it could give you something else to use for research. The snow will go away but why not go out and build a detectorist snowman? HH...........63bkpkr

I feel your pain....I'm stuck in Kuwait (no snow) for a few more months and I really want to get out and find some pull tabs.

:occasion14: Have some of these and you won't feel a thing........HH

I hear ya, started a new job and only have the weekends now, every weekend since it's been raining or snowing....

Cjon I know what you mean..."stupid snow"

I am freshly addicted to metal detecting and have a page long list of places I want to go, but it has been raining or snowing every off day almost since I got my detector.

In a normal winter around here we will get a snow then in a few days it will melt away. Recently however we have had back to back 5" snow storms and the temps tonight are supposed to drop to mid teens and they are talking about another round of snow... @#$#$@$%@ this stuff won't ever go away. :BangHead:

Its an anti- detecting conspiracy I tell ya.

I've been trying to satisfy my addiction by reading the forums and watching the videos.

Hey I just had an idea.... I can use my detector to find the dogs feed pan in the back yard... you would have thought the dog would have taken the initiative to find that!

Remember to scan melting snow banks at edge of mall, grocery stores, etc during winter. Never know what you will find pushed to the edge per se. I found coins, gold, and diamonds last year!
