Not a earth shattering find, just an attempt to satisfy my curiosity. It’s a screw top with some kind of kfc looking guy on it, anyone recognize the brand?

Appreciate the leads, for what it’s worth found in the country in se Kansas where there was a barn probably up to the 40-50’s

I don't see anything 'Shakespearean' about the portrait.' The dude appears to be wearing a formal jacket with a stiff 'high collar' shirt and a ribbon bow tie of the type known as a 'Western string'. Typical late 19th to first part of the 20th Century garb.

Looks like the kind of imagery often seen portraying the 'inventor' on things like bottles of liniment, cure-all remedies and 'medicinal' tonics.

Interesting I’ll have to see if I don’t get lucky looking at medicine type bottles, tried about everything I can think of so far. Is there a better term for screw top or screw cap… every time I try that phrase in my search I just get a bunch of people wearing beanie caps.

I also found a doctor mcguilicutty or however it was spelled, seems unrelated to the beverage company but maybe they used his likeness?
