The Combie Reservoir cleanup is one project of the Sierra Fund. Martin’s group has secured money for the cleanup, which will achieve three different goals.
The obvious benefit is the removal of mercury from the reservoir.
However, removing built-up sediment from the reservoir also will provide more space for water, space that’s currently taken up by the sediment.
Additionally, the sand and gravel removed from the reservoir has cash value. Gold likely will be found in that silt. The gold and sediment can be sold to help mitigate the cost of the project, Martin said.
“The multiple benefits of this project are incredible,” she added.
What a hypocrite!*#*$

Yep. She even has a picture of me up on her wall labeled as Public Enemy #12. I hope I give her an aneurysm causing a stroke some day.
There's no love lost between Gizzi Fartin and any miner. I have no need to see that ugly mug on this forum when we have to see her too often in person as is... Her little troll scientist and I had a few discussions when she was out counting frogs on my claim, nothing but lies come from her house...
