Hey All,

I decided since it wasn't snowing I would go out and snow blow the side of the house and do a little detecting. As you can see it was about 2 feet thick but believe it or not the ground was not frozen because the snow had insulated it from the freeze, go figure. I was only out for an hour (it was about 20 degrees out), I got a few pull tabs, a hanger and an Aladdin arcade token. As far as I'm concerned it was well worth the effort. ;D

Hang in there Toby, I believe the mild weather we're having right now is drifting your way. We had about 12-16 on the ground but the last three days into the 40's, a lot of sun, a touch of rain today, the snow is leaving fast and now I'm even starting to see patches of grass every now and then. If things stay steady I should be digging in the soup this weekend?

Yup, we got some 40 degree weather to day and some raid as well. My hope is that it will continue. If we could just get the snow to a managable level that would help out wonderfully!

I just bought the property I now live on about a year ago . There is a field near the house I haven't had the chance to detect yet . The other day I told the wife I thought I would take the tractor + the blade + shove the snow off it so I could get the detector out . Can anyone imagine what kind of a look I got ? lol ;D

WV HillBilly,
Yep! Chin down, eyes peering at you through the top corner of her sockets, head cocked......
