I actually found this while magnet fishing on a local bridge here in Indiana. It was small enough that I just threw it in my shirt pocket and pretty much forgot about it from there. Until I came across it just the other day(a couple of months after bringing it home) in a bowl of random cut rocks in water that I ended up outside.
I noticed how strongly this was attracted to a magnet so I ground into 2 of its sides to see its interior. Seeing that it was primarily made of solid shiny metal makes me think chances are good that it's a genuine meteorite.
