✅ SOLVED Hat pin?

Found on a site with some colonial relics,civil war relics and post war relics.The first thought to come to my mind was some sort of hat pin.But i am stumped.Any information or ideas?thank you!

I forgot to mention it s about 1 1/4 wide and 2 1/4 long and is made of thin brass. sorry about that!

It appears you have a brass Victorian Shawl pin. A long pin would go through the shawl and rest on the two 'C' areas and the center tab would bend to hold the long pin in place. Ladies wore these on their shawl as decoration. Yours has 2 Stars of David.

The one pictured below is more modern than yours, but it shows the long pin.
