✅ SOLVED Hat Badge Mystery

Since the ground is still frozen I've been hunting off the beaten track antique shops here in Ontario. :thumbsup:

I found this today and haven't been able to find a picture of it online.
It looks like it might be silver, but there's no mark. :icon_scratch:

Measures 2" L x 1" W, can anyone here identify the origin and age for me?

Great Eastern Railway ?? Only a guess, plus that rail line was British.
