Has anyone tried a FisherF2 12x10'' SEF coil on salt water beach?

Hello, Im looking to get maximum depth on dry land with my f2 but also need a coil to detect the wet sand at the beach. The 8''stock coil that came with it works great on both. Just wondering if the 12x10sef will work as well as the 8'' did for both land and saltwater sand. If it does perform pretty good on both maybe it's worth the investment. Lol or is the ten inch the way to go, I can't decide, hopefully someone has my answer:BangHead:

Your F2 works good in wet salt water? That's news to me. The owners of those that I've hunted with all complained about chronic falsing.

I would get the 12x10sef for your magic F2 as soon as possible! :hello:

I have an ace but I really like my NEL coil it's 13x14,covers a ton of ground and maintains sensitivity to small targets. Never used an Sef but heard good things about them as well.

My 250 works in the wet sand I think it depends on the location so don't let them poke fun to much. If it is magical though I'll buy it off you hahaha

I forgot to say I dug a penny 7" deep in the water with my nel. I'm only on vacation on a heavy hit beach so no gold but a Ton of clad and junk jewelry.

Go Advanced:BangHead:My third attempt at this, I can use my metal detector much better than this computer. There is a bit of chatter here and there but its of little concern, I still have no trouble telling a good hit, ill try to add some pictures here again of our 4 hour hunt the wife and I had 5 days ago,we found most of them in the salt water sand beach, and a musket ball that was in a still salt water pool that was made as the tide went out,

Found the toonie group on the only thawed out ground I could find in the area. Fine find for the first evening out. Do you think the little chatter would turn into a lot of chatter with the 12x10 in the same area, or will it be pretty much the same thing as the 8'' which seems to be working in this area now?
