OK, that is different. That said a search didn't turn up anything for me, which in its self doesn't mean much.

I'm leaning towards either a homemade coffee table, or a custom order coffee table. Sort of falls into the Folk-Art genre to me. Then again that's just my uneducated opinion. Maybe some of our smarter members can come up with something.

While it certainly looks stable in the photo, I suspect the table was designed have the table top rest upon the top of the geese’s heads.

I initially thought the glass also rested on their heads, but I’m not so sure. There isn’t really any way to secure it on there, and it would be very easy to bump the glass and have it fall off. The geese seem to be weighted inside to prevent tipping though, but having a sturdy heavy base would be needed in either configuration. I am more inclined to believe that the glass goes on the back of the geese, as it is perfectly flat and the necks keep it from sliding off in two directions. I was hoping to find a similar item in a google image search, as that would likely show how the glass should be placed and it would also indicate this is not a one of a kind item.

To give you an ideal, this table uses only two geese (Brass) with spread wings. The glass is balanced on wing tips and heads.

You may be missing the larger top ?

If you turn the glass 90 degrees will that allow the butts to properly but up against each other
, leaving eye appealing arches, a nice lower shelf, and a place for a glass top shelf that is at a reasonable height ?

Plug N Play, that’s very interesting. I had not thought of that configuration or the possibility that a piece of glass may be missing. Did you photoshop the original photo? If so, nice job!

You're too kind, MilitariaCollector. Yeah, I rearranged the geese a little, and smeared pixels across their heads. he-he I didn't want to mess up your beautiful lawn so I left the dog in the car.
