Have you herd of a man from some place in New Mexico. That would cross the border into Juarez Chihuahua once a month. To meet with a Mexican man. The New Mexico man would buy one(1) bar of gold per month for $1000.00. This took place in the 1950's or 1960's.
Apparently the Mexican man was collecting lumber to sell , and he found a small hole on the side of a hill. He crawled inside and found stacks of gold bars. He would only take one bar each month. Then travel to Juarez to meet the new Mexico man. the villagers discovered what he was doing . He was tortured for five days then left tied to a tree. He got away and never returned to that area again.
One of my relatives was friends with the Mexican man's son. The son had been to the location with his father several times but was afraid to go back. He told my relative? how to get to the location. I would like to hear the new Mexico? man side of the story.
