Has anyone ever seen one of these?

Found in park in Bridgeport Connecticut
Not sure if its gold, its heavy but might be lead, not sure how to test. No other markings.
I have googled the pants off this no hits.

Looks like copper .
A certification number on the tag.
You might look up the company and see if they have anything on this .

Nearly 40 years ago a Mr. Robert Lyler, President of the U. S. Bullion Corporation appeared on the Merv Griffin show--as noted here:http://palmcoastcorehomes.tripod.com/id11.html
If that's a clasp on one end, it may be part of necklace.
And since no composition measure is inscribed, IMO it's not a precious metal.
