Hi all, Gary and I got out a Tuesday of this week. We started off going to an old School house site, then went to a old Church site and ended our day at the Happy Trails site.
Gary started off finding a few good coins at the School house site and the church site. He found 2 IH's 1883 & 1895 and 2 wheat pennies 1919 & 1925. He also found a Barber dime 1910 all from these sites.
I found just a 1891 Seated Quarter and 2 wheat pennies 1916 & 1916 D.
We then went to the Happy Trails site and started popping the silver out. Gary found a really nice SLQ 1926, 3 War Nickels '42 P, '45 S,
'45 S, a Buffalo nickel 1936, a Mercury Dime '38 & 2 Roosevelt Dimes '59 & '62. He also found 3 wheat pennies '41, '44, ' & '50 D. He also found a Gold and Silver Charm, a Gold Cross and a Silver Indian Head Ring. His old Garrett ACE 250 was smokin!
I found a Mercury Dime 1941 and 2 Roosevelt Dimes 1946 & 1956. One Buffalo Nickel 1936 and 4 wheat pennies '37, '44, '54, & '55. I also dug a Black Onyx ring up.
All in all, we had a pretty good day. I am still a little handicapped as I fractured my left wrist.
Hope you all had a great week before the bad weather set in.
