Happy Thanksgiving T-NET!---Yesterdays hunt

I went out hunting yesterday to a field I haven't hunted in a while. One of the first thing I dug up was a cool token that might be old. It says "1/2 cent value" at some store in Modesto it looks like. Even has the street and number on it. I will look it up later today. I also finally found my first silver item, a small ring. Also found a couple junk rings. Check out the pics. Sorry if the focus is bad..tryin out my phone cam. HAPPY T-DAY ALL!!

Nice finds! George Nakano is listed in the 1932-33 Modesto City Directory as owning the Halfpenny Store - "Full Line of Staple Groceries, Choice Meats and Fancy Fruits and Vegetables" at 702 7th. How about posting pics of it on TokenCatalog.com for the good of the hobby?

Wow thanks idahotokens!! I wasn't able to find anything on that token...not even a picture. I did Google maps of that address and had a feeling it was pre 30's token. I will check out your site. Wonder how the heck it ended up in the bay but that's what makes it interesting, right?
