HAPPY FRIDAY THE 13th

Today is Friday the 13th.
I'm not very superstitious but I have always thought about the possibility of consequences while plundering some voodoo sites I have come across in NYC Parks.

Any of you guys superstitious or have some bad luck stories like; walking under a ladder and then getting hit by a meteor? ?

I didnt realize....... oh no. I think it came about when the french king rounded up all the knights templars and imprisoned or put them to dearh or torture.not all but most were effectively eliminated on friday the 13 I forget what year. Ever since then it has been considered a bad or unlucky day. Someone will straighten me out with the details. Maybe we should all put it to the test and play a scratch off or go detect or somthing. It dosent scare me any.

Well, I woke up and I'm still here, still got to go to work so I still have a job and I am breathing. I guess that since i have no fear of walking under ladders or have had an "Acme" anvil drop on me from above, I don't really see Friday the 13th as any different. Blak bart, you may have a good idea about going and getting a scratch off, but that's just because you can't win if you don't play. Everyone enjoy their 13th!

I heard that it goes back to "The Last Supper"
Jesus plus the 12 disciples =13.
And of course, the 13th man was Judas.
Judas is always listed as the last apostle selected by Jesus. With the selection of Judas,, he became number "13" in the group.
Not long after his betrayal of Christ, Judas is said to have committed suicide by hanging himself. I guess being #13 didn't go too well for him.

Well, today hasn't been as dreadful as it might be yet! My daughter was rear ended in Wyoming, MI last week. In my last conversation with my insurance company they indicated they'd total her car out - leaving me pretty stuck.

I just spoke with him again and they're going to fix it Cool! Takes a load off.

Now I have to take my 90 year old mother to the grocery store, etc. If I stayed at the house instead the only thing that would get me would be a meteor strike. Now I have to go out and brave the world!

I just spoke with him again and they're going to fix it Cool! Takes a load off.

Oh? I heard a rumor that there was gonna be a CW re-enactment in your area, but they'd be using real bullets. The Rebs were supposed to be real bad guys and are expected to ransack homes and such.

Wifey was frisky this morning, so it started off just right... Since snow is coming down pretty well now, maybe I'll go grab the parts I gathered for a detecter mod and get started...

The 13 th was my son's birthday, nothing bad happened.

2 weeks ago i had to get a visitor pass ti go in a building #13, then 2 days later went to the supernarket deli and i was again #13, but still nothing bad happened.
Maybe there's a lucky 13.
